GOALS:
1. Improve on shooting teamwork.
2. Enhance the one on one defence.

Cones. Netballs.
Session:
Warm-Up
One lap around court perimeter.
Individual Stretches.
Work-Out
1. Player 1 throws to player 2 and then follows in to mark and catch the rebound from the player 2’s shot. The 1st player returns the ball to the next player in their line and joins the back of the 2nd player's line. The 2nd player in turn joins the back of the 1st player's line.
2. Player 1 throws to feeder, then runs quickly into circle and receives ball back from the feeder. Player 1 then shoots, collects the ball, and passes to player 2, before joining the back of the player 2’s line. Player 2 does the same as player 1 from the other side and the drill continues.
3. In pairs, one player moves quickly from left to right, using small side steps while their partner tries to keep up. Both players are facing each other. They then swap who is the leader and follower. After each has had a turn the follower has to turn around with back to the leader and defend like in a real game.
4. Defender (green 1) attempts to intercept ball passed between 3 static players.
Important that 3 players are not too far away from each other.
5. Game against opposite team in order to put sessions into practice.
Cool Down
Lunges to shooting permitter, then sumo squats to first line.
Slow jog around court.
Stretches.
